Singapore proptech company Ohmyhome announced expansion plans that will see the company launch in the Philippines. The property transaction-focused firm helps streamline the selling process through a hybrid model that combines a DIY (do-it-yourself) platform with full-fledged real estate agency services.
“We are very different from property classified platforms. Our focus is not on advertising but on helping customers transact. We take care of the entire transaction process—from search and deal-closing all the way through legal documentation and mortgage advisory—making it simple for both first time property buyers to seasoned investors to transact real estate,”Ohmyhome CEO and Co-founder Rhonda Wong told the Manila Bulletin.
Launched in Singapore four years ago, Ohmyhome currently carries out an estimated 2,000 housing transactions per month in Singapore and Malaysia. The proptech company’s app has more than 300,000 downloads with 175,000 active users and roughly 15,000 unique real estate listings.
According to Wong, Ohmyhome is a good fit for the Philippines for a number of reasons. She noted that the country’s real estate scene is plagued by unreliable agents, complicated government processes, disorganized websites and confusing co-broking arrangements which sellers can avoid when using their platform.

Ohmyhome reaches top 1% in Singapore
The proptech firm’s in-house agents qualified in the top one percent of Singapore resale residential transactions during the first half of this year, according to data from the Council for Estate Agencies. With property transactions in the city-state having declined due to COVID-19, this is seen as an impressive accomplishment for the company.
“At Ohmyhome, we strive together as a team, supporting one another. When you engage our agent service, you are also engaging the entire company that is dedicated to providing you with a seamless housing journey from transactions to renovations. It has always been part of Ohmyhome’s DNA to be there for every step of the housing journey. Our agents being in the top one percent proves that Ohmyhome’s strategy of being a tech-led property company, with a focus on 360-degree support for agents, is leading the charge to shape the future of the proptech industry,” Wong explained.
