The Mr. and Ms. REBAP Competition is one of the unique events that make the Philippine real estate industry a special place. Organized by the Real Estate Brokers Association of the Philippines (REBAP), it was created to raise funds for the non-profit organization as well as support charities and CSR projects nominated by different chapters across the country.
Not only do the proceeds go to a worthy cause, but the beauty pageant-inspired competition gives contestants a chance to strut their stuff and show off special talents while taking a break from the busy world of property. This year’s Mr. and Ms. REBAP Coronation Event takes place on May 20 with the winners being determined by a public vote which is happening now and will end at 11:59 pm Philippine Standard Time on May 19.
No matter who your candidate is, we encourage you to vote for Mr. and Ms. REBAP if you’re able to. Each vote is PHP100, and they all matter since the money raised goes to charity in the Philippines. As for those who may be undecided, here’s why Dianne Orillosa deserves your vote.
Dianne Althea R. Orillosa for Ms. REBAP 2023
Dianne Althea R. Orillosa deserves your consideration for Ms. REBAP 2023. For starters, she currently serves as President of the REBAP Ortigas Chapter and before that was Vice President for Internal Affairs.
She is also CEO of the highly-success Keller Williams Ortigas-27C Realty in Metro Manila. Dianne has earned several licenses, certifications and designations. These include being a Licensed Real Estate Broker and Appraiser since 2014, holding designations from the National Association of Realtors and Certified International Property Specialist as well as the e-PRO® designation.
But that’s not all. Dianne is currently working towards obtaining a third license, this one as a Real Estate Consultant, by pursuing a second bachelor’s degree with a concentration in real estate.
Outside of property, she’s passionate about performing arts which is perfect for a competition like Ms. REBAP 2023. Winning may not earn her a ticket to Hollywood, although you never know, but it does allow Dianne to give back, something else she cares about deeply.
“Winning this pageant is important to me because I am not qualified to join Miss Universe given my very cute height of 5’2. I kid! Kind of,” Diane jokes. “More than anything, I feel a strong sense of responsibility towards giving back to the community. Work keeps me busy 24/7 and I’m grateful for events like this where all of us can take time out of our busy schedules to use our God-given talents, skills and resources for the betterment of the lives of the disadvantaged.”
Dianne is raising donations for children and the elderly community feeding programs through sCORE Basketball Training’s charitable arm and patient rescue funds at Psoriasis Philippines. The latter is a cause very close to her heart.
“I’ve personally suffered from psoriasis and had marks from my neck to my feet throughout my schooling, and it gave me a lot of unpleasant experiences because I was bullied for it. Also, nobody wanted to touch me or hold my hand during mass at church. I’d be in a sea of people, but I’d pray alone. I was also called disgusting,” Dianne recalls. “It resulted in a lot of self-esteem issues growing up. I hope no one suffers the same way I did and that the public will be more educated on what the condition is and how to take care of people who have them.”
At the end of the day, there are no losers in the Mr. and Ms. REBAP Competition. It’s about supporting those in need and one another while having some fun along the way.
“No matter what happens though, I will be grateful knowing I gave it my all and I’m already so touched by the kindness of my friends and, even more so, strangers who have voted for me and donated,” Dianne states. “Every vote counts. I thank you all in advance for your generosity. Feel free to share my campaign ads and the fundraising link. Thank you so, so much!”
