Amy Coffee is the place I go to if I’m ever in the mood for something sweet around Ekkamai but don’t know what exactly I want. That’s because they have a great selection of beverages and desserts that cover the entire spectrum. There is fruity stuff, chocolate options, coffee choices and everything in-between.
For coffee lovers, the café offers all your favorites as well as several specialty drinks. Amy Coffee lets you choose between a medium and dark roast for your espresso which is a nice touch. Additionally, they change beans regularly, especially for the slow bar. Cold brew is also available, and you can get it black, white or snowy.
The milkshakes at Amy Coffee are really good if you want something that’s rich. The brownie milkshake is my favorite because it comes topped with an actual brownie. How great is that? A number of fruit smoothies are also on the menu along with various cakes and pastries.
There are seasonal specials where the baristas will craft a few different drinks based on a specific item. For yuzu season, Amy Coffee created a yuzu americano, yuzu frappe and sparkling yuzu as part of the specialty menu. This menu changes every month or so.
It has been almost three years since Amy Coffee first opened in Gateway Ekkamai. The menu has evolved over the years, but the quality has always remained outstanding. It’s nice having so many different options available. That means I know I will be getting something good even if I don’t know what I want at that very moment.
At the end of the day, Amy Coffee is a quaint, unpretentious café that is unique. If you want something sweet or need a coffee and are around the Ekkamai BTS Station, this is the place to go.

Recommendation
The brownie milkshake is probably my favorite, although I do bounce around the menu a bit. If it’s not too late, usually get a coffee. Amy Coffee also has a nice apple crumble.
Price
Prices are fairly normal for a Bangkok café. Espresso drinks run from THB80-THB120 while frappes, milkshakes and the like start at THB120. Most of the sweet treats are less than THB100.
Getting there
Amy Coffee is located on the ground floor of Gateway Ekkamai across from Doi Chang and next to Dunkin Donuts. It’s really not that difficult to find once you’re inside the mall.
